Emergency Dental Care
During Opening Hours
If you experience a dental emergency while the practice is open, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably early in the day. Our team will provide advice and arrange an emergency appointment where appropriate. We will always try to see you the same day and, where possible, with your usual dentist.

We are committed to providing care in a safe and respectful environment.
- Please treat our staff with the same courtesy and respect you expect from us.
- Abusive or harassing behaviour towards staff will not be tolerated.
- Action may be taken by the Practice Owner, including de-registration from the practice.
As employers, we have a duty under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated regulations to protect staff welfare. Measures include:
- Risk assessments
- Secure premises
- Panic alarm at reception
- Staff training in managing difficult or aggressive behaviour
- Efficient appointment systems to minimise delays
- Call logging for out-of-hours emergencies
Complaints Procedure
We aim to resolve concerns promptly, fairly, and courteously.
- Complaints may be made in person, by telephone, or in writing.
- A member of staff will record details and pass them to the Complaints Manager, Amanda Price, if appropriate.
- Complaints relating to clinical care or fees will usually be referred to the treating dentist unless requested otherwise.
Acknowledgement: within 2 working days
Investigation: normally completed within 10 working days

Patient Rights & Responsibilities
Patients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate medical and health information
- Keeping personal and contact details up to date
- Attending appointments or providing at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations
Access to Patient Information
To provide safe and effective care, we may share patient information with:
- Your GP and other healthcare professionals
- Hospitals and community dental services
- HM Revenue & Customs
- Department for Work and Pensions
- Private dental schemes
Information is shared strictly on a need-to-know basis and in line with confidentiality and data protection legislation. Consent will be sought where required.
